• Søren Kierkegaard, Fear and Trembling, translated by Alastair Hannay, Penguin, pp. 49-108.

• David Hume, Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion, Hackett.

• Immanuel Kant, Religion Within the Limits of Reason Alone, translated by Greene and Hudson, Harper Torch Books, pp. 15-72; 142-151; 158-173.

Readings from Anselm, Aquinas, and Rosenzweig will be provided in a handout.
