Layan Manasrah is a Neuroscience and Global Health major from Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. Her goal is to become a physician who provides reliable care to the most vulnerable patients who often struggle to access it. Layan made the Dean’s List for all of 2025 and has been accepted twice to Northwestern’s Summer Internship Program. She was chosen for the highly-selective King’s College London Health and Society Program and the Dermatology Career Prep Program.
She is committed to over 300 hours of research at Kalb Lab at Feinberg studying neurodegenerative disease. Layan has taken on leadership roles in various Arab American organizations on campus. She is also co-founder and co-president of a student group focused on raising awareness about crises in the Middle East and supporting children affected by crises.
