Christine Lundgren, STEM Scholar

Christina Alexis Lundgren, from Plainfield, Ill., is majoring in biomedical engineering in the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. She is minoring in Spanish in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences. Christina’s goals and passions lie in the medical field. She plans to utilize her Spanish language background to develop medical devices or educate people in undeveloped countries on treatments. Christina was valedictorian of her high school graduation class of 600 students.
