Emilya Ershtein, STEM Scholar

Emilya Ershtein, WCAS, from Atlanta, GA, is pursuing a double major in economics and mathematical methods in social science. Her interest in social issues has led her to plan on entering a PhD program with the goal of pursuing a career as a social scientist. In high school, Emilya received a Lockheed Martin STEM scholarship. At Northwestern, she received the Northwestern Mathematics Award for Excellence. She is also recipient of the Golden Citizen Fellowship, having lived in India during her 2019-2020 gap year.
